“”The TASTY album (our first ever recording) was made by my cousin Chuck Gringer to promote us to the Rush Street Venues. Danny on piano, Rooney Engstrum on bass, and me on drums. We were around 19 or 20 years old. Our first Rush Street gig was at Easy Street , a small well known jazz club. We went on from there to play all the jazz joints on the street over the next two years. Including two stints on the Marty Faye TV show. .””
